While it's thrilling to see the reveal from Roy's perspective, Jamie's status as a reality star puts his career as a football star in question. In a shocking turn of events, one of the most popular contestants on the show is Roy's archnemesis, Jamie. Following Roy's yoga session, he joins the older women in his class to watch Lust Conquers All, a favorite reality series among Roy and the wine-drinking ladies. Though much of the premiere episode centers on the team's struggle with tie matches, and the trauma caused by the death of Earl, Jamie appears in the final sequence involving Roy. Seeing as Jamie is no longer a member of AFC Richmond, he isn't present for much of Ted Lasso season 2's "Goodbye Earl." When the follow-up installment begins, it's well into the new season, and it's assumed Jamie is busy playing for Manchester City. Despite not completely valuing his girlfriend Keeley (Juno Temple) or his team when he played for Richmond, he made a few small breakthroughs. Ted quickly noticed Jamie's poor attitude and made it one of his missions to change the young star's perspective. Dunster's character was always outspoken about his skills, and he never shied away from belittling his teammates, specifically the veteran captain, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein). Rather than serve as a leader for Richmond, Jamie used his role as a superstar to elicit inequality in the clubhouse.
